Your Role
As a Controlling Business Partner, you will play an essential role in driving business performance by recognizing problems, implementing solutions, and contributing to all key strategic and commercial decisions, including target setting and forecasting processes to ensure long-term success.Your Responsibilities
- Develop effective partnerships and relationships with support finance teams and key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of expectations, demands, and internal processes.
- Actively look for ways to challenge Global IT costs that are incurred in the respective Product Portfolio, Business, and Functional Unit organization.
- Daily contact with executives across the service organization to ensure the financial impact of decisions are fully understood.
- Detailed analysis of departmental performance and cost drivers based on standardized and centrally provided reports.
- Support the development of new business initiatives, including the financial analysis of new Investment Applications and/or BIAs.
- Analyzing, strategizing, and monitoring of ongoing projects, if necessary, on an ad-hoc basis.
Your Skills and Experiences
- University degree in business administration/finance/controlling or professional qualification in accounting
- Knowledge and experience in strategic planning and target-setting processes.
- Excellent IFRS knowledge and application experience.
- Knowledge of ERP, accounting, reporting, and service charging systems, like Business Objects, Netinsight or equivalent.
- Experience in the finance or controlling department of a multinational company, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in both English and German languages.
