The Role:

Are you ready to join a hypergrowth start-up and define the world around you? This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute finance analyst to drive our brands and define processes to grow even faster at scale. As part of the Strategic Finance Team you will report into our Finance Business Partner. The primary purpose of the role will be to drive research for the brand management, marketing and supply chain teams. You will produce financial forecasts for our brands (from top to bottom line) and help provide strategic guidance through actionable research of the financial and operational performance.

Your Job:
  • Co-own the operational forecast process for your brands and will prepare in-depth research to disrupt assumptions and propose solutions
  • Work closely with all departments across the company, you connect the dots and gain a deep understanding of our brands to produce high-quality financial forecasts and analyses.
  • Disrupt the status quo and drive change through data and research.
  • Dig deep into the numbers and uncover ways to improve our unit economics
  • Produce and present research of financial and operational performance to support decision-making across the company
  • Prepare P&L scenarios for new launches, expansions or other initiatives to grow our brands
  • Engage with BI and engineering to build automated reporting and forecasting
  • Implement processes that drive improved research, reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Your Background:
  • Experience working in a very high-paced commercial environment.
  • Open-minded, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build trust and partnerships easily
  • You like to work in ambiguous environments and are not afraid to try and learn.
  • You are a self-starter that takes ownership: You always help out, no matter your job description
  • You are hands-on and always keep the long-term goals as a priority
  • You are able to tell stories: You are concise, clear and can present complex ideas in a simple way
  • You have a Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics degree
  • Ecommerce or FMCG related experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial and management accounting standards and concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Finance based modelling skills
  • SQL knowledge preferred
  • Experience working with Tableau, Power Bi, and data-models
  • 2+ years experience in FP&A or corporate finance with strong commercial partnering background
  • Can be based in Germany or UK; fluency in other European languages is a bonus.
