As Head of L.E.A.N. (d/f/m)for the Limbach-Oberfrohna/ Nuremberg Cluster you act as key consultant for the Plant Management Team and the entire plant for lean implementation to optimize efficiency, increase productivity & quality. This position can be staffed in both Cluster locations.


Your responsibilities:

  • Train and perform the Vitesco Operations Strategy Process, implement Cluster Strategy, Organize Strategy Reviews
  • Performs LEAN Self-Assessment and set up an individual L.E.A.N. Cluster roadmap
  • Drives the development of the Cluster in the direction of Lean DNA and digitalized organization towards achieving LEAN Operational Excellence
  • Monitors and supports the implementation of new standards
  • Inspire, coach, and drive the Cluster Management and the entire Cluster towards application (how to use) of lean methods, lean behaviour and lean system understanding and lean system sustainability
  • Project Manager for Strategy Projects (e.g. Standard Work, Deviation Management, etc.)
  • Responsible to analyse the monthly L.E.A.N. Reports, to prioritize improvement gaps and define improvement plans for productivity increase and cost/waste reduction
  • Member of the worldwide L.E.A.N. network, accumulate and communicate results and lessons learned

Your profile:

  • Academic degree in engineering or similar field of studies
  • Long-term professional experience in manufacturing field in the automotive business, cross-functional experience appreciated
  • Several years of experience in a leading role (e.g., Project Manager, Team Lead)
  • Project Managements skills as well as L.E.A.N. knowledge, lean principles, methods and tools including SCRUM
  • Knowledge of the entire operations area (Supply Chain, Production processes, administration processes, etc.) and Production Technologies
  • Business fluent English language skills written and spoken
  • Ability to drive and moderate strategy workshops, very good communication and motivation skills
  • Strengths in problem solving and decision making
  • Responsibility, collaboration, trust, solution orientation and courage should be guiding values in your daily work
  • Willingess to travel
