Chief Financial Officer – Germany (Remote)

We support retailers, service providers, cities and municipalities in the digitized implementation of online and offline vouchers.

What’s next for us:
After three years of ongoing success and company growth we are now looking to scale up and take KeepLocal to the next stage, we have some exciting Series A funding rounds coming up and are looking for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join, work directly with the CEO & be a key stakeholder in taking the business to the next level.
Your tasks:

• Shape the further growth path as CFO
• Active role in the implementation of financing rounds
• Investor Negotiations
• Strategic financial planning for the further development of the business model,
• Operational financial planning, monthly and annual financial statements
• Stakeholder management (investors, regulators, auditors)
• Direct liaison with investment partners to ensure that the business portfolio remains robust with tangible results over the coming months and years * * Ensuring compliance with any regulations (stat/tax)
• Hiring and developing an Operations and Finance team.
• Assist in Financial software / ERP implementation
• Oversight of the entire Finance function

Your Experience

• Experience in preparing Start-Ups or Scale-Ups for fundraising rounds
• Experience taking a company through the fundraising stages
• Experience working with Seed to Growth
• Network of international investors (VCs, CVCs, etc.)
• Companies successfully built and scaled, ideally start-ups or SMEs
• Proven ability to develop and implement systems and processes to increase business clarity.
• Proven leadership in finance.
• German business fluent
• Business fluent in English

Desirable but not essential:

• BaFin qualification
• Banking License
• Fintech background

• Extremely strong communication skills.

• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and goal-oriented manager
• Structured, analytical way of thinking and acting
