Develop innovative integrations of GEC´s products into Data Spaces and major initiatives like GAIA-X, IDS and Catena-X. Join our Team as a
Backend Developer (m/f/d) API
at the location Eschborn, Berlin or remote
Your Responsibilities
- Work with project managers and architects on international consortial efforts like IDSA, GAIA-X or Catena-X
- Turn formal results of the Working Groups GEC participates in into working systems, demonstrators and finally integrate with GEC´s products
- Work constructively togesther with our consortional partners
- Participate in formal Working Group meetings, informal every-day-cooperation, hackathons with our often remote partners from all over the industry
- Over a project lifecycle, deliver the relevant software artifacts
- Coordinate as an Engineer with Product Owners, Architects and Managemewnt regarding goals, requirements and GEC´s deliverables in above efforts
- Work on emerging and often incomplete technology. Find and deliver results regardless og the temporary or preliminary swet of requirements and specifications in a prototyping setting
Your Profile
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Deep experience with more than one of the current programming languages Python, Java/Kotlin, go, rust, Javascript
- Proven project success with technologies like SOAP, Web Services, grpc, and other internet-based B2B interoperability technologies
- Experience with OASIS, W3C or IETF standards like TOSCA2, JSON-LD, DID etc
- Prior knowledge of IDSA is a plus
- Hands-on manner for solving problems in prototypes, demonstrators and PoCs
- Excellent ability to document in written form, ability to quickly grasps formal specifications and sw design artifacts
- Experience with test-driven or behavior-driven software engineering and pair programming
- Very good communication skills, in English (written and conversational) and German
