Your Role and Responsibilities

At IBM Global Business Services (GBS), we are looking for an Associate Partner (AP) Industrial Manufacturing with specialization on our Digital Factory Services.

As an Associate Partner Digital Factory, you and your team will support clients in the discrete manufacturing or process industries in implementing AI solutions and digital platforms so that they gain significant better insights to manage their manufacturing as well as the extended value chain from development to manufacturing.

Digital Factory Services encompasses the design and transformation of clients’ business and operating models as well as manufacturing processes. They combine industry expertise with innovative digital technologies to enable unique business and technology transformation approaches in manufacturing.

Focus topics include Manufacturing Strategy, Smart Factory, Smart Maintenance in industries: discrete manufacturing and process industries.

In your role as Associate Partner, you will drive the development of the Digital Factory portfolio and lead client development efforts with a focus on COO, Production Managers and Plant Managers.

Your experience spans manufacturing and IIoT which gives you a unique position that you bring to your client relationship.

You Will Be Responsible

• For delivering large scale digital transformation opportunities in co-creation with our clients in the Industrial sector.
• To lead the sales process from deal origination to successful closing, including offering fine tuning, solution shaping, proposal preparation and client presentations.
• To work closely with our ecosystem partners to generate market opportunities and deliver exciting works.
• We are seeking an action-oriented visionary who is craving to be part of a great company in a fast-growing segment. We need someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment on our emerging Hybrid Cloud and AI strategy. You are able to transform IBM’s strategy for Hybrid Cloud and AI into clear action points for our clients.
  
  

We expect the ability to lead teams to design and deliver applications required to transform business and IT processes while meeting the business and IT needs and outcomes. The resulting design will often be required to run in a Hybrid Cloud environment and on multiple platforms. The final solution may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master Degree
• 7+ years of consulting, sales or delivery experiences, business development in industrial practice and development of Digital Factory Solutions
• 3+ years of experience in Industrial Internet of Things
• Experience in digital modeling with Digital Twin, Digital Thread concept in mind
• Experience building lasting key client relationships and business opportunities in a consulting environment from incubation to full scale solutions across strategy, process, and technology
• Possesses business and technical acumen on the latest digital topics, such as IIoT, Cloud in Manufacturing, analytics and artificial intelligence
• Understands and conversant in the Manufacturing and Products Industry issues, business process models and relevant digital technologies
• Experience leading projects made up of joint client and provider teams with strong project planning and management capabilities
• Experienced and knowledgeable in manufacturing execution systems, lean manufacturing, digital plants, computer-integrated manufacturing, manufacturing operations management
• Experience in digital strategy development and deployment and use of automation in world class manufacturing and plant facilities
• Skills in IIoT architecture design, development management and delivery experience.
• Experience in managing delivery of complex projects.
• Worked or consultancy on any IoT system like Siemens Mindsphere, SAP Leonardo, or similar
• Strong software expertise and project management experience including technical/business background within industry solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and while multi-tasking
