ABOUT THE TEAM

As an Analytics Engineer in the Data Platform, you will lead, build, and own analytics projects end-to-end. You will be filling the gap between Data Engineers and Data Scientists while collaborating with Business Stakeholders. You will be responsible for bringing analytics models to production. Such models will empower all data users across the company to make better decisions and shape the future of Trade Republic.

You will support one of our Data Platform initiatives:
Experimentation

  • Responsible for our experimentation service which enables data-driven decision making in our Product, Marketing and Customer Service departments.
  • From AB testing, to interleaving and multi-arm bandits
Automation

  • Supercharge our banking operations by automating machine learning processes like Money Laundry Detection or our Compliance operations.
  • Expand our product offering by producing user facing data products, from tax and depo reporting, to personalized news digests and recommendations.
Infrastructure

  • Help us monitor data generated from our users and financial markets
  • Improve our real time capabilities for prediction, analysis and actionable insights
  • Create tooling and infrastructure to deploy Machine Learning algorithms
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Extract large amounts of complex data and design ELT flows using SQL, Python, DBT, Airflow and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to make sure your data pipelines are well versioned and deployable through our infrastructure
  • Implement automated alerting and monitoring to your data pipelines to contribute to data freshness and data correctness
  • Actively learn, search and implement new technologies and best practices that boost the availability of data and its analysis
  • Understand the business requirements and translate them into an end-to-end data pipeline
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You feel comfortable building automated solutions using big data
  • You have worked preferably with modern-tech data stacks (AWS/Airflow/DBT/SnowFlake are a plus)
  • You have a good understanding of business logic and analytics
  • You are well familiar with all stages of a data pipeline
  • You can visualize complex data in a simple, clean and understandable way (Looker or Tableau are a plus)
  • You are oriented to personal and professional growth, you never settle with what you have
