Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit – now Yara AgTech (YAT) – 5 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, YAT has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

Job brief

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager to join our AgTech team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our partnerships with key partners in the industry. The Account Manager will have a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with partners.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing relationships with key partners in the AgTech industry.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify new partnership opportunities and develop strategies to grow existing partnerships.
  • Providing product training and support to partners to ensure their success and satisfaction.
  • Communicating regularly with partners to provide updates on product offerings, understand their needs and identify opportunities for the partnership.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop marketing materials and collateral to support partnership efforts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of partnership activity and sales pipeline.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or business development, preferably in the Agtech industry.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining successful partnerships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Agtech industry, including key players, market trends, and regulatory environment is desirable.
