ValueWorks was founded in 2020 as the first software solution with a real focus on executives as users and offers the intelligent operating system for founders & executive managers. The founders are long-time experts in enterprise software (especially SAP) and top management consulting (Bain & Company, McKinsey) and have mapped their experience into a unique software solution.
ValueWorks provides a cloud-based, integrated and intelligent enterprise software that supports the entire management process from planning to reporting to execution (using OKR).
Tasks
We are looking for a dedicated person to join us for 10 hours per week as a working student in video production. You will be responsible for developing creative content and you will become an important part of a high-performance team.
  • You create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, promotional social videos, product marketing videos and recruiting videos
  • You take-over the video-production of our content (remotely via Microsoft Teams or approximately once a month at our office in Karlsruhe) and the post-production of our video-content
  • You work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
  • You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (C-Level, Marketing, Product-Management, Customer Success) to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
  • You develop production schedules
Requirements
We are looking for a student who possesses technical skills in video, audio and post-production:
  • Familiarity with Smartphone video-recording (ideally also with professional cameras (Sony PMW-F3 or similar), prosumer camcorders (Sony NXCAM HXR‑NX3 or similar)). Knowledge of HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting and storyboarding
  • Familiarity with audio in the area small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
  • Familiarity with post-production: digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
You must have experience with one of the following editing software: Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere.
Personal Skills:
  • You study at a German university
  • Good English language skills, German language skills are not a must
  • You have a self-starter attitude
