On behalf of our client we are filling the following exciting position in Essen:E.ON Drive lnfrastructure (ERDI) bundles E.ONs comprehensive public electric vehicle charging infrastructure expertise and is a vital growth business in a fast developing market. E.ON thrives to capitalize on the current market opportunities and expand its leading position being already ranked among top 4 providers in Denmark, Sweden and Germany. In line with the young e-mobility market, ERDI values an entrepreneurial working environment with flat hierarchies and centralized functional setup, thereby enabling everyone to develop the business, expanding ERDI’s European footprint, whilst defining the future of the EV infrastructure market and green mobility.
You will help the Data Team to build analytics systems like automated billing, proactive charger monitoring and dynamic pricing modeling using cutting-edge cloud technologies. We handle projects from design/requirement scoping with the business, development, testing to deployment in an iterative approach.
Tasks
Some examples of your daily tasks:
- You will help us build a robust data infrastructure to improve our charging infrastructure business
- You design & program data flows, pipelines & dashboards to implement different business use cases on our data platform (Databricks/Spark, Python, SQL, Power BI)
- You program & configure interfaces from different data sources to our Azure Databricks Data Lake and vice versa (e.g. calls from REST APIs with Python or Azure Data Factory)
- You configure Azure Cloud Services (Azure Data Factory, Datalake, Databricks, Azure Functions, SQL Server)
What You’ll Bring To The Team:
- You are an enrolled student (preferably with a technical degree) with previous programming experience (preferably Python with libraries like pandas, numpy, spark) for example as a Werkstudent or Praktikant (m/f/d).
- The mindset to complete tasks consciously, reliably, and end-to-end, with a high level of personal commitment
- Hands-on mentality, pick up what needs to be done to complete your (sub-) project
- Business fluent in English; German is a good addition, but not a must
- Optional: experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP preferably Azure (z.B. Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure API Management, Azure Functions)
