Product & Innovation is a diverse team united by their passion for building great products with the latest technology. Together with and for our businesses we initiate, develop and run product and technology innovations, which create sustainable value for our businesses and their customers. Additionally, we identify and boost digital business model, product and technology innovations. We report directly to our Top-Tier Leadership Team.

The challenge – what you will do:
Empower our dynamic and ambitious small team by strategically developing and executing innovative strategies, pioneering digital business models, and fostering sustainable ventures. As a fully integrated team member, you will contribute to various aspects in the space of innovation, including:

Ideation

• Identify new opportunities through comprehensive market-, trend-, and competition analyses
• Dive into the joy of stakeholder and customer discovery by crafting surveys and conducting insightful interviews
• Acquire proficiency in business model design: brainstorm and critically evaluate our ideas

Validation

• Master the toolset for critically examining early-stage product concepts
• Formulate hypotheses and design suitable experiments for validation
• Learn the principles of social media marketing to experiment with end customers

Support

• Assist in creating top-tier management documents and deliverables to synthesize results (thus hopefully MS Office (esp. Excel & PowerPoint) is not a foreign language to you)

What we would expect from you...

• You have a completed bachelor’s degree and are currently enrolled in master’s degree at a top university with exceptional academic records (business administration, entrepreneurship, innovation management, economics, psychology, or equivalent are preferred)
• You have initial exposure to strategy development, business and financial planning, or within the realm of innovation, digitalization, and technology-enabled business models
• You navigate the uncertainties of early product development with ease, driven by an intrinsic research curiosity and a passion for experimenting with new ideas
• You have genuine curiosity and enthusiasm in conceptualizing and applying new products and technologies, actively sharing innovative ideas and thoughts
• You embrace a positive, hands-on mindset, approaching challenges with optimism and taking initiative in finding own solutions
• You exhibit strong communication skills in both German and English, showcasing empathy and proficiency in argumentation.
• You would commit to being available for 16 to 20 hours per week, expressing interest in a long-term collaboration
