Your role in our team

  • You provide quality assurance during the overall integration and implementation process
  • You develop holistic implementation concepts for various inspection machine types
  • You provide continuous feedback of implementation relevant information into the ongoing product development
  • You ensure inspection machine preparation and configuration for optimal operations with our software product
  • You act as the main contact person for overall machine implementation questions internally and externally
  • You convince and represent the implementability of our solution with various inspection machines in front of our customers
  • Your multi-faceted tasks and topics will include: Labeling, archiving as a service, implementation & integration of DL in machines, image recording/storage/export, configuration amendments, validation as well as evaluation of camera systems
  • You will support our Data Science team in the creation of consolidated image datasets that serve as the basis (training, testing and validation) of deep learning models.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in optical engineering, computer vision & image processing, electrical engineering or a related discipline, and at least three years of professional experience in digital image processing and/or classic image processing in the pharmaceutical industry
  • You are familiar with inspection machine configuration for optimal operations with the given vision tools and possess in-depth knowledge of camera technology, optics, lighting, and programming
  • You are experienced in the installation and validation of Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) systems and familiar with the classification of defects, able to quickly assess defect sample sets & translate findings into high-performing recipes for AVI
  • You understand, develop, and implement state-of-the-art tools and technologies in digital imaging and image processing based on a sound understanding of pharmaceutical inspection processes, including documentation needs and regulatory requirements
  • You possess profound experience with inspection machines and their overall architecture and are thus able to understand the overall mechanic and electrical structure of various inspection machine vendors
  • You enjoy familiarizing yourself with different visual inspection concepts from different vendors and act as a visionary when it comes to (shaping) the future of visual inspection
  • As a proactive team worker with a digital mindset and a passion for technology and people, you effortlessly communicate with different stakeholders and translate and mirror vision-related facts into the product development team
