  Qualifications

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).
  • Possess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine (may be a valid state license from any US state).
  • Official transcripts must be provided prior to time of hire. Unofficial college/university transcripts may be uploaded for initial qualification screening

  Best Qualified Criteria:

  • Possess active United States Department of Agriculture/ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) accreditation.

  Physical Requirement:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.

  Area of Consideration:

  • The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Kaiserslautern and surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection). SOFA eligibilities must be met.. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration).

  
  Salary Information:
  Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is:NF-04 $35.94ph to $40.72ph ($75,000pa to $85,000pa)
