DescriptionOur mission:
We have a passion for great user experience: We are developing cutting edge UX/UI software for Mercedes-Benz infotainment platform (MBUX). We focus on agile development of user interface software and frameworks to reach highest performance and a truly unique customer experience. We drive connected car innovations by evaluating and implementing latest software technologies and agile development methods. We develop the UIKit (core of our user interface software) in-house and team-up with technology partners to integrate their solutions. We are in charge of the full UX/UI software development life-cycle and interface with internal and external development partners.
We are looking for software engineers that can work full stack, but have a clear focus on UX/UI and preferably embedded and/or automotive experience.
Your Tasks Will Be
- Development of production grade components for MBUX-UIKit module base don Qt in an agile development environment
- Software design and architecture definition, interface definition and maintenance
- Evaluation of new and innovative UI software technologies and frameworks
- Integration of software modules and build artefacts with other components on different embedded platforms, analysis of integration results
- Development of automated test on various levels (unit, module, integration)
- Regular communication with internal and external partners
Qualifications
Professional qualifications:
- Completed Software engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Professional experience in software development, preferably on embedded or mobile
- Detailed knowledge of modern software architectures and technologies
- Experience in developing user interfaces
- Excellent coding skills in C/C++
- Experience in Qt is a plus
- Linux experience is a plus
- Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
