Danfoss Business System (DBS) is looking for Transformation Project Leads to lead regional and global projects with focus on Indirect cost optimization across Danfoss factories. You will be leading projects of up to 6 months duration, to achieve strong contribution margin improvements by optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Cost with a direct affect to the Factory Performance.

In this role, you will be operating in a truly multicultural environment with highly competent colleagues from all over the world. We are a global organization with more than 100 factories all over the world and therefore it is important that you have the flexibility and willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time and to work in all our factories within your region. When not travelling, you will have the flexibility to be working from one of our offices or from home.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Lead cross-functional projects to identify and implement Indirect Cost optimization potentials. This includes securing buy-in from relevant stakeholders, defining scope, analyzing data, agreeing on target, and establishing the right project team.
  • In your capacity as Project Leader, you will co-develop road map, ensure timely execution to achieve agreed targets, but also being ready to actively participate in preparing business cases, implementation plans etc. to secure implementation according to plan.
  • You will support with identifying improvement potentials within indirect cost areas like MRO, Energy, Logistics, Packaging etc.
  • Drive Performance Management (PMS) to follow up on activities, provide corrective actions if needed, challenge to reach stretch targets and report to Management.
  • You will act as partner to manufacturing and supply chain leaders to elevate a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost along the entire value chain.
  • As part of a global network, you will search and share best practice proactively

Background & Skills

To be successful in this position, we expect that you bring around 5 years of experience from Supply Chain, Procurement or from an improvement and performance driven organization or Consulting. Ideally you come from a manufacturing environment of a large or medium-sized organization. The successful candidate has a track record of hands-on experience in implementing change management projects, ability to demonstrate team player mindset and act as an inspirational leader with both commercial and technical knowledge. You are excellent in building rapport and confidence in peers and management.
