Your Tasks:

We are looking for a passionate DC Monitoring Engineer with software development skills to process and develop our DC Monitoring for the whole IONOS Group:
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and operation of the DC Monitoring systems.
  • Plan optimization of Monitoring renewal projects.
  • Develop and Engineer the IONOS Group Monitoring System.
  • Central Contact for DC Monitoring.
  • Support DC Management by collection Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support DC Infrastructure Team to gather data of Electrical and mechanical devices.
  • Ensuring the security of the DC environment by supporting the Information Security Management System.
  • Work to deploy international standards to the DC Team.
  • Documentation of Systems and processes.


We Appreciate:

  • Knowledge of DC monitoring environment or industrial automation.
  • Advanced technical education in technology or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical (HVAC).
  • Knowledge in Monitoring stack/Architecture.
  • Basic Computer Networking knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and industrial protocols like e.g. S7, Modbus, Bacnet.
  • In-depth knowledge of PC and Server Hardware.
  • Programming skills in Python, JavaScript or other language are useful.
  • Knowledge of Machine-to-Machine-Kommunikation like MQTT.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
