Assist the Studio Manager in oversee and manage the studio operationally, while also assisting in building a strong local community and the best possible client experience. A successful candidate in the Assistant Studio Manager role is passionate about health and wellness, loves to lead alongside a team, is able to work with teams locally and remotely, and thrives in a fast-paced people-filled setting.
Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Interaction:
*
Maintain a list of top clients and work to create deeper community bonds with each, also pin point key clients to trainers to establish a relationship.
*
Work closely with marketing to highlight potential client/sale opportunities
*
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers,
responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any complaints.
*
Use surprise and delight with clients to make their day beyond the workout they
came in for.
*
Manage and maintain client databases to ensure we can offer the best customer
service based on the most accurate information.
Marketing:
*
Partner with marketing team on ideation and implementing studio specific marketing ideas/strategies for studios.
*
Sales and events promotions to be delivered together with Operations and Marketing team
*
Work closely with the marketing team to establish Corporate partners
Sales:
*
Partner with studio leadership to meet or exceed monthly fuel bar per client and conversion goals.
*
Drive sales through product knowledge and overall client experience. Product Ordering and Inventory
*
Oversee food and supply orders for the Houston studio, and ensure we have adequate product on hand, while not being overstocked.
*
Help maintain inventory supply, and accurate counts of all items in all studios.
*
Maintain vendor relationships and help oversee ordering of protein bars and other grab and go vendors.
*
Examine all merchandise to ensure correct price and display.
*
Drive sales for products, services, memberships and retail in the studio.
*
Analyze the attendance for the particular studio, and bring any insights or patterns to
the attention of the Leadership Team where you think improvement is possible.
Retail Management:
*
Work with retail daily to assist with locating merchandise for clients and to ensure full size runs of items are available at all times.
*
Working with Retail leads to keeping all displays updated.
Administrative Responsibilities:
*
Assist with inventory stock and reorder of inventory when it drops to a specified level.
*
Resolve client complaints and answer customers’ questions regarding policies and
procedures.
*
Work with the other management members on any difficult client needs or issues.
*
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting employees. Ensuring the upkeep of
staff records.
*
Assist plan and prepare work schedules, and assign employees to specific duties.
*
Oversee daily operations of the office, including maintenance & operational records,
logs and follow ups
*
Studio walk arounds and communicate any studio maintenance or construction
needs to the Operations Team and help oversee proper and prompt fixing.
*
Liaising with trainers and getting feedback from their classes and upkeep of their
equipment
*
Liaising clients feedback to trainers
Assist Staff Management:
*
Keep staff informed on new promotions, drive sales and opportunity goals
*
Supervise front desk employees engaging in product and retail sales, customer
service needs, inventory, and reconciling cash receipts.
*
Assist front desk staff with difficult or complicated transactions.
*
Assist with training new front desk employees.
*
Guiding, Directing, and Motivating studio staff: Provide guidance and direction to
studio staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
*
Build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among your team.
*
Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in
resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
*
Ensure customer service skills, work standards and desk efficiency are up to
company standards.
*
Conduct induction/onboarding sessions and schedule on-the-job training for new
hires.
