To start shortly, we are currently seeking an

(Sr.) Engineer for Circular Economy, ELV and IMDS (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for
  • Company’s representative in national and international working groups, towards global car manufacturers, associations and legislators, i.e. in the Steering Committee of the International Material Data System (IMDS) or in different Recycling Expert Groups
  • Support the company’s activities in the advocacy and the implementation of the End of Life Vehicle Directive and its heavy metal ban
  • Develop related strategies together with our Korean experts
  • Perform internal and external circular economy projects to increase recycling content in our products
  • Support of internal LCA, sustainability and compliance projects
  • Intensify network into the recycling industry
  • Contribute to company’s global environmental strategy

Who We Are Looking For
  • Degree in Materials or Environmental Engineering or comparable
  • Several years of relevant experience in the area of circular economy / recycling & environmental regulation
  • Skills in global sustainability requirements incl. LCA are desired
  • Working experience in the IMDS
  • Existing network into manufacturing & recycling industry
  • Interest in EU law making & willingness to travel
  • Analytical way of thinking and interdisciplinary way of working
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a good command of English language
  • A profound knowledge of the MS-Office applications
