Duties
- Provides support and assistance to the Sports and Fitness Director in the use of recreation equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Apply a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of various types of recreation equipment.
- Ensures sufficient supplies are on hand and equipment is in good condition to support the sports and fitness program.
- Assists in setting up sports events and may assist in athletic programs as needed.
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of facilities.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- A health assessment is required.
- Travel to on and off post locations required.
- Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Progressively responsible work experience that provided knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance, inventory, ordering and instructing, and use of various recreation equipment.
- Good customer relations skills.
- Must be physically able to walk, bend, stoop, stand on a routine basis; lift supplies and equipment weighing up 50 pounds.
