RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our Agricultural Solutions Expert Services team and support us in the area of Data Governance / Ontology.
You will be responsible for the maintenance as well as further development of existing digital solutions in terms of data quality and connectivity to ontologies / reference data.
You will accompany the development and implementation of new digital tools to automate as well as increase transparency in our global planning data landscape.
In addition, you will evaluate as well as optimize data quality and define new concepts on data quality control and data governance processes.
You contribute significantly to the development of required ontologies and drive the documentation of business processes in the company-wide data catalog forward.
Furthermore, you will support and train the review board in technical as well as regional departments, including the creation of training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS

degree in biology, chemistry, bioinformatics or a comparable field of study
experience with the use, maintenance and/or development of ontologies (e.g. WebProtégé)
deep understanding / experience with the creation of logical data models
ideally good understanding of databases
very good communication skills in German as well as English with focus on the needs of your customers
