We are looking for you, an experienced and motivated team player, to join our software platform development team near Karlsruhe, Germany. We provide software microservices and frameworks for other software application teams across Agilent to enable the lab of the future. In our distributed Agile scrum team, you will develop new components, evolve existing frameworks and provide application developer integration support around our OpenLab Client Framework.

Required Skills
  • University Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Strong knowledge in recent programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python, Go)
  • Very good spoken and written communication in English
  • You have a successful track record in complex software development projects
  • You thrive in a team and are a good at proactive problem-solving
Desired Experience
  • Agile Scrum methodology and related tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio in C#, .NET, .NET Core
  • Web application and API (e.g., Angular, Typescript, GraphQL)
  • DevOps / CICD (e.g., Jenkins, VMWare, vSphere)
  • Cross-platform development and test automation
  • Micro-services architecture, security concepts, cloud platforms
  • Good speaking skills in German, 3rd language is a plus
