We are looking for a (Senior) Product Data Analyst to support our growing Data & Analytics team. This role needs to be based in one of our European locations.

The Data & Analytics team at Staffbase is the central nervous system of all things data. We build the analytics infrastructure and fuel decision making across every business unit using data products and smart insights. As a member of that team, the (Senior) Product Data Analyst translates raw event data into trusted recommendations for the Product Team using a high-performance data tech stack. You heavily contribute to our vision of modeling the entire product usage anatomy and shape a data-driven understanding of how internal communicators successfully use our award winning platform.

Your tasks include:
  • Support Product Managers with both strategic and ad-hoc data analysis
  • Identify opportunities in data to accelerate product adoption, retention, and engagement
  • Define KPIs and build dashboards that inform success for the Product Team
  • Partner with our Scrum Teams to set up event tracking for new products
  • Educate the Product Org and be their go-to-person for all things Product Analytics
  • Become an advocate for Data & Analytics across the Staffbase Org and regularly share your findings using our very own Data Knowledge Hub
Your Profile:
  • You have multi-year experience in leveraging descriptive and predictive data techniques, preferably in a tech company
  • You are a self-starter who proactively identifies high-impact data use cases and owns projects from concept to production
  • You know how to measure the success of new products and features
  • You effortlessly query and wrangle large amounts of data using SQL
  • You preferably worked with programming languages such as R or Python
  • You build dashboards your colleagues couldn’t live without anymore. You have experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or Data Studio
  • Your communication skills ensure you can translate complex matters into actionable insights and achieve consensus with peers
  • You love working with data and that tingling feeling when you uncover business-critical insights for the very first time
  • You’d consider yourself belonging to the most curious people out there and you have a healthy disregard for constraints
