As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As Senior PKI & Crypto Consultant/Architect you will become part of the Data and Application Security Competency of IBM Security Services. You will work in a highly motivated team on consulting and technology integration projects at different clients of IBM. In your role you will work as an advisor and expert, who plans and designs Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) and Cryptographic Solutions and Services and leads related technology implementation projects on a technical level.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities Will Include

• Preform general security and cryptographic consulting and requirement management
• Design and implementation of PKI Policies
• Design and Implementation of Public-Key Infrastructures and Cryptographic technologies and related processes
• Integration of PKI with Infrastructure Services (SSL/TLS for servers and other infrastructure components)
• Integration of PKI with IT infrastructure business processes and components (CMDB, Identity & Access Management)
• Development of technical security strategies related to PKI
• Development of technical security architectures for PKI
• Development of technical security standards related to use of cryptography, cryptographic keys, and digital certificates
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) technologies (CA, RA, Certificate trust chains, CRL, LDAP, OCSP and HSMs) and related processes for certificate lifecycle management (enrollment, request, renewal, revocation, archival, etc.).
• At least 5 years experience as lead architect in at least three projects with PKI design, build, deployment, and support cycles and expertise in creating technical documentation of architecture, use cases and test cases
• At least 10 years experience with cryptographic services, enterprise-wide key and secret management, proven knowledge of state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and working relationships in a project-based / client-serving model, and to work closely with people at different levels of an organization
• Fluent German and English language skills are a mandatory requirement
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• At least 8 years of experience in security consulting and systems integration
• Professional Certifications, e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, CCNP, or equivalent and Product Certification
• OpenGroup or other Industry Architecture Certification Test cases.
