LivePerson is currently seeking a creative and talented professional to join our team as a SeniorNodeJS Developer (SDE III) as part of our Engineering Powerhouse. The successful candidate has an opportunity to work as part of the global product and technology unit and help to build state of the art services that are used by our largest customers.

In This Role You Will
  • Use your expert knowledge to design and implement robust highly-available back-end services that scale.
  • Institute and champion best practices for backend development, from consistency and readability to maintainability and documentation.
  • Be responsible and drive the adoption of new and exciting technologies.
  • Assess the impact of new features based on metrics that are visualized on our dashboards.
  • Support other team members and work together with colleagues around the world to achieve the best result.
What You Need For Success
  • BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of backend development experience
  • Exceptional TypeScript or JavaScript coding skills
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience in working with RESTful/Webhook APIs,
  • Experience with messaging APIs such as Facebook or Twilio is plus
  • Experience with CI, configuration management and containerization solutions.
  • Ability to learn new and emerging technologies
  • Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of SaaS applications
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
