Job content
FINN makes mobility fun and sustainable. With a flexible car subscription, we bring a true e-commerce experience to car ownership and offset all CO2 emissions along the way. Join our fast-growing team to build the most popular auto e-commerce platform as we launch new product lines and expand internationally. We work with the best car brands in the world and are backed by leading global investors.
Your Role
You are the key Business Intelligence link in the Operations department, fostering a data-informed culture across the team. Reporting directly to the COO, you partner with management to support better decisions about the (strategic) direction of Operations. Operations is one of FINN’s cross-functional units and comprises functions along the customer lifecycle ranging from product development, engineering, email marketing, fleet management, to customer support. Thus, you get to impact a rapidly growing fleet of thousands of cars and customers.
Why FINN?
- This role is based in Munich with flexibility to work temporarily from anywhere or from home. For candidates relocating to Munich, we offer full visa support as well as a significant relocation package.
- With massive growth potential, FINN allows you to quickly develop and succeed in a highly motivating startup environment with ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams. Business Intelligence in Operations will quickly evolve into a small team.
- Excellent fixed salary along a yearly personal development budget of 1,500€.
- Our open, modern office in the middle of Munich is known for loads of fun with amazing colleagues and frequent team events.
- You want to drive your own car with FINN? – Get one with our employee discount program.
Your Responsibilties
- Own the “data” domain holistically for Operations: You develop our data structure and ensure data is reliable, coherent and up to date. To build our data backbone, you work with Data Engineers to integrate data streams from various sources. You support the team to use tools like BigQuery and Looker more independently.
- Own our OKR setting and reporting: You support Operations management by making OKRs transparent and actionable throughout the organization. You share learnings with clear documentation and continuously evolve the way we track progress.
- Enable better decisions with actionable insights: You enable data-based decisions across our team, helping to identify blind spots and increasing your team members’ confidence. You deliver actionable insights as well as align and support in implementing the measures across departments.
- Understand customer satisfaction & engagement: Working alongside our Product Managers, you dig into how customers interact with our products (e.g self-services). Analyzing customer feedback and their interaction with the support team is a vital part to help improve the customer experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years in data analytics, ideally in a digital product company or operations context.
- Expertise with SQL and Looker or similar is a must. Additional expertise in measurement of web / app analytics and CRM is a strong plus. Graduated top of your class in a quantitative discipline with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- You demonstrate a highly analytical skill set coupled with meticulous attention to detail and business acumen. You aren’t content providing only a report, but excel at finding new, creative ways to overcome challenges.
- You have proven your ability to effectively work toward shared solutions in a team of experts from diverse backgrounds, both technical and non-technical.
