Daily challenges
  • Work with a supportive team as a trusted advisor to our clients
  • Take part in internal and external work groups, work sessions and interviews to learn about functional and technical strategies and components in the rail industry sector
  • Design new transportation concepts, modules and solutions for and with the customer
  • Actively represent our customer in the respective industry forums and drive implementation of those for the customer as well as the defined peer group
  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative analytical assessments and, with guidance, draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Advise the client and shape their approach
  • Make significant contributions to the company’s methods and tools community, known for its close work with other innovators
EXperience And Skills Required
  • You have > 5 years of relevant experience in the rail industry sector at a rail undertaking rail infrastructure manager or their key suppliers. Ideally, you have experience in one of the following focus areas:
  • Rail Network Planning and Operations Optimization
  • Automated Train Operations
  • Rail Freight Logistics Optimization or
  • Regional Rail Networks Optimization
  • You are a business centric person with a good understanding of technologies being applied to digitize the business
  • You are a Master/Bachelor in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or fields related to Transportation
  • You have an interest and are capable to analyze sector-specific situations and define business improvement concepts on basis of your analysis
  • You can work both independently and in team
  • You have excellent communication skills and able to adapt to several levels in organizations
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • You want to evolve to leading positions in the engagements with our clients, both in shaping deals and proposing solutions as well as in delivering them successfully
  • You are flexible, ready to travel (up to 50%) and to work onsite with customers within the DACH region
