Scientist RNA Process Development

Your Main Responsibilities Are

At BioNTech you will support our process development team and contribute as part of an interdisciplinary team to the development of new processes for RNA production and to actively shape development projects.
  • Development, establishment and optimization of processes and methods for RNA production (RNA synthesis and RNA purification) in a clinical setting
  • Planning and carrying out experiments as well as evaluating and interpreting the results
  • Technology transfer of methods and processes to the GMP production
  • Interdisciplinary function to different projects as well as internal and external partners within different RNA platform technologies
What You Have To Offer.
  • Degree in natural sciences (master or ideally PhD), paired with first relevant professional experience
  • Sound experience in RNA synthesis and RNA purification
  • Experience in technology transfer, desirably with knowledge in the GMP area
  • Conscientious, precise and independent way of working
  • Commitment and the ability to find your way in a fast-paced environment
