Your Role:

In your role as a Scientist (all genders)in the department Healthcare Analytics you will support and coordinate analytical studies conducted primarily in the context of pharmaceutical research and development. You will perform hands-on activities in the lab, including designing and conducting analytical studies and setting up, optimizing and validating new methods. You will also translate and interpret your results for our internal partners, compile and present data, and work closely with multidisciplinary project teams. A key focus of your role will be technology scouting, establishing collaborations with universities and contract research organizations, and participating in the scientific community. You will provide internal customers with innovations based on the latest in analytical science and pharmaceutical research.

Who you are:
  • PhD in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or equivalent qualification with a focus on mass spectrometry
  • Practical experience in the field of quantification of small and/or large molecules in complex (biological) sample matrices using LC-MS/MS
  • Extensive experience with sample preparation, chromatography, and method development, preferably in the area of pharmaceutical research and development
  • Experience with ELISA, LBA and PK modeling is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Cooperative teamwork style, combined with a strong ability to innovate and drive issues forward
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are required (German or willingness to learn German is a plus)
