SAP Frontend Developer (all genders)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

On our team we create, maintain, and optimize SAP applications. The new frontend developer will work closely with existing frontend developers to create and enhance UI5 Fiori applications. You will be responsible for the enhancement and support of existing Fiori custom solutions and the implementation of new enhancements and custom solutions. You need to be familiar with the SAP gateway server, the cloud connector, SAP BTP, and the implementation of interfaces from a cloud solution to a S/4HANA on-premise backend system.

Zalando’s Enterprise Applications and Architecture department works with state-of-the-art technologies to deliver innovative solutions to all parts of our platform. As a part of the SAP Development team, you will work with the newest SAP S/4HANA modules & products. We have a close partnership with SAP innovation centers and cooperate with renowned implementation partners. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Perform complex Fiori SAPUI5 programming, testing, and debugging for the ongoing development of our SAP S/4HANA implementation
• Provide creative ideas and solutions to address problem areas
• Improve setup, tooling, coverage, and docs to benefit the team
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and give presentations internally when necessary

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU BRING...

• Strong technical expertise in Fiori SAPUI5 Development, OData, CDS Views, and ABAP Service Implementations mainly in the functional areas of S/4HANA Finance, Retail, Controlling, and Treasury Management
• At least 5 years of current and relevant work experience with developing SAPUI5 applications
• Well versed in Object Oriented (OO) concepts
• Adaptability and desire to learn new skills
• Practical work approach and flexibility with changing requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
