As Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) Industry & Distributors in the business line Accessories, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the account strategy, in particular for power cable fittings for use in power supply networks, in two of our important national and Central European customer segments. You will coordinate these activities, as well as other specific sales activities, in consultation with the sales management, always keeping a clear focus on increasing our market share as well as on the factors of profitability and customer satisfaction.
You Will Be Responsible For The Following Aspects
You will be responsible for independently developing market access with medium and high voltage cable sets with German and Central European industrial customers and distributors. In addition, you will have a regular travel activity to customer visits and trade fair services, participate in customer meetings and audits in NKT plants and you will be responsible for the active sales of our products, development of sales opportunities, presentation of economic potentials and customer benefits as well as for the execution of technical presentations. Further key tasks are:
- Drafting and negotiating customer agreements in accordance with legal, economic and strategic framework conditions and in cooperation with various specialist departments
- Supporting customer enquiries until the order is placed
- Intensive cooperation with the NKT specialist departments and service providers in German and English
- Realisation of sales and profitability targets agreed with the sales management
Further Important Qualifications Are
You already have several years of experience in international sales of technical products, ideally in the field of energy distribution and have an economics and/or technical university degree or comparable. Your profile is characterised by a strong customer and success orientation coupled with strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Highly motivated, proactive and able to work in a team as well as independently and in a structured manner
- Experienced in the use of SAP and CRM systems, as well as excellent MS Office skills
