QA Lead

We are looking for a QA Lead who will help to maintain and improve the quality of the released end-product in Lokalise and lead the QA organization in a cross-functional team environment to excellence.

You will:

• Lead QA guild (chapter lead).
• Collaborate with product & technical stakeholders to evangelize our quality strategy & vision.
• Define, implement and monitor a high-level KPI-driven quality strategy.
• Manage test resources to meet project delivery milestones.
• Help in designing, implementing, and managing test automation frameworks in CI/CD environment.
• Be responsible for maintaining and improving existing coverage to support rapid changes in the product.
• Work and report to the Director of Engineering in the planning and growth strategy of the department as needed to meet organizational needs.
• Work alongside our Talent Acquisition team to deliver on QA hiring goals.

You must have:

• Recent 5+ years of experience in the QA Lead/QA Management role.
• Strong web software testing experience and a good awareness of concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of functional and non-functional testing (e.g., regression, integration, performance, smoke, etc.).
• Proficiency with API testing tools.
• 3+ years of proven experience in test automation (preferably using JS/TS stack).
• An understanding of OOP design practices and page object patterns.
• Interest in continuous integration and tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, CircleCi, Gradle, etc.).
• Experience in product release cycles, quality, A/B testing, and user research.
• Experience in producing test artifacts (requirement gathering, test cases, test reports).
• Proven management ability, including strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Experience in planning and executing complex multi-team products and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
• The ability to communicate clearly about complex technical problems and solutions, both to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, and resolving blockages.
• Excellent English verbal and writing skills (native or near-native speaker).

It will be considered a significant advantage if you have:

• Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Puppeteer.
• JMeter, Gatling, or any other experience in performance testing.
