We are looking for aPurchasing Expert (f/m/x) in our Stuttgart office , starting inautumn 2021. In the role of a Purchasing Expert (f/m/x) you will work closely with leading roles (programs, finance, sourcing & staffing, enablement), finance specialists, and the managing director. You will play a key role in having trustful & sustainable partner relations with accurate and timely processing of contracts.

In this role you will
  • Be transforming purchase requirements into supplier orders for official assignments in compliance with defined processes
  • Define, implement, monitor, and improve standards, templates and processes to handle all purchasing needs
  • Negotiate prices and terms and conditions with partners in context of orders, Cloud Risk Process and Data Processing Agreements
  • Secure high quality of internal order process in cooperation with Daimler internal departments
  • Review partner performances on a yearly basis and deriving measures if required
  • Support in developing the partner portfolio
  • Guide MB.ioneers in conflict situations with partners
  • Continuously link business operations and purchasing activities
  • Work in a holacratic environment to shape processes and tools
You Possess The Following Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies, processes and methods
  • Excellent user-centric communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with different tools (e.g., business application software, JIRA, Confluence, purchasing & resource planning systems)
  • Skilled passion for prioritizing and organizing according to set deadlines
  • As a team player, you support and encourage others
  • Drive to learn, improve yourself and think out of the box
  • Strong written and verbal skills in German (> C1) & English (> B2)
