Every day, millions of containers are transported – and every third container is empty! We solve that problem.

How? The container is the single biggest innovation in logistics of the last century and has revolutionized not only an entire industry but also changed the way we live and do business. However, while this iron box itself is simple, standardized, and efficient; using and owning containers is an operational nightmare. Market transparency is limited, trust along the value chain is low and most processes are manual and error-prone. Our mission is to change this—by providing a neutral platform for container owners and users to collaborate easily and efficiently. We are here to connect global container logistics to take the hassle out of owning and transporting container equipment.

Working Student IT / Tech Support (f/m/d)

As our working student in Tech support, you will be responsible for supporting the xChange Tech team in ensuring that our hardware and software are running smoothly for all employees. This will contribute greatly to our performance as we continue to disrupt the global container logistics industry.

Tasks

  • Support in onboarding new employees by procuring and setting up hardware and accounts
  • Help and advice your colleagues with all kinds of technical problems, e.g. with hardware defects, issues with access, licenses, etc.
  • Keep track, set up and update user accounts for all products and platforms, e.g. Slack, Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive
  • Help with onboarding of new employees for any tech issue and create guides, How-To instructions and tips for your colleagues
  • Set up and maintain an asset management solution for all hardware, licenses, users etc.
Requirements

  • You are an enrolled student in the field of IT, business informatics or similar
  • You have good knowledge in IT administration, user administration and hardware setup
  • You are helpful, open-minded and friendly – you enjoy solving problems for others
  • You are structured, self-organized and know how to drive a defined project independently
  • You know Windows and macOS by heart as well as your way around Microsoft Office 365
  • Fluency in English - all other languages are no requirement
