Retrac is an early-stage startup based in Berlin, Germany. We are a young, international team with a mission: make inventory management smarter than ever.

Right now, we are growing quickly, and searching for a talented Intern or Working Student (f/m/x) to support our design needs as we launch our product. The internship will ideally last 3-6 months and can be either full-time or part-time (let us know your availability, and we’ll work something out!). At present, we work fully remotely. ????

Tasks

Your tasks will include:
  • Collaborate with our skilled designers to further develop Retrac’s desktop and mobile app
  • Research and plan user journeys for real estate and hospitality persona
  • Work with Figma to help develop beautiful UI for our mobile app and website
  • Brainstorm and contribute ideas as we develop our product and user experience
  • Assist our designers and support with other creative projects where needed
Requirements
  • Studies or relevant experience in design (graphic/interaction/product design)
  • Deep understanding of design principles like layouts, colour theory, visual hierarchies, and typography
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator (or similar)
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint & Google Slides
  • Great communication skills in English (German is a nice-to-have)
  • High motivation to meet deadlines, manage your own work and contribute to the team
  • A positive and open-minded attitude - a great sense of humor is always a plus!
  • ⭐ Huge plus: Previous experience in startups or technology companies.
