YOUR TEAM
The CARIAD Integration Test Center (TI-3) is responsible for the development of the test concepts, test infrastructure, and operations to ensure validated software releases for usage in vehicle projects of all Volkswagen brands.

The department “Test Operations” (TI-33) as part of TI-3 has the responsibility to ensure highly efficient test operations for all solution trains testing on all infrastructure levels (HIL simulators, lab cars, integration vehicles). A very important focus of TI-33 is the validation of customer functions on CARIAD platform release level. We are looking for new colleagues who are experienced in state-of-the-art vehicle testing and are eager to build a powerful team to support the development of the leading automotive tech stack.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Execute all required testing activities for the validation of CARIAD customer functions
  • Focus on selected area of customer functions such as body & HV charging, infotainment, chassis and powertrain, online services, driver assistance (ADAS) etc.
  • Ensure required test infrastructure availability and proper functionality (e.g. planning, control, monitoring and decision making regarding maintenance of hardware and software tools)
  • Execute and continuously improve all required test automation solutions based on CARIAD frameworks to ensure highly efficient testing operations
  • Testing of customer functions according to the integration sprints defined by the solution trains using state-of-the-art infrastructure
  • Drive root cause analysis in case of development issues in cooperation with all internal and external development partners
  • Drive defect management processes to resolve detected issues and defend findings in program meetings
  • Responsible for documentation according to applicable standards (e.g. ISO)
WHO YOU ARE

  • Academic or professional education in a relevant engineering, science, mathematics, software or information technology field is required
  • More than 2 years of professional experience in automotive testing & in automotive architectures and communication systems (e.g., CAN, Ethernet)
  • More than 2 years of professional experience in functional domains such as body & HV charging, infotainment, chassis and powertrain, online services, driver assistance (ADAS)
  • More than 2 years of professional experience in state-of-the-art validation tool usage (e.g., Wireshark, Vector CANoe)
  • Practical experiences in development of test concepts an required infrastructure
  • Programming skills (e.g. Python)
  • Innovative and courageous thinking in order to define and implement cutting-edge technology solutions
