Worldwide! Partnering with 100 Suppliers our External Supplier Operations (ESO) Team supports all over the globe with a growing business of >500 new materials introduced every year!

Being part of the ESO team you will be working in a very dynamic business environment with a lot of global interaction and attractive tasks.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Create a common demand plan for the entire product portfolio in collaboration with relevant functions on the platform and the global supply chain for the 3-4 to 24-36 month tactical horizon.
  • Support and collaborate within the SRTs and with TP/Region SC Head to establish optimal supply plan and monitor variances against budget for tactical horizon up to 24-36 months including: a) supply volumes/as needed, b) operating costs, delivery performance and inventory projection on platform/region/center and external suppliers
  • Optimize key supply chain processes to NOSSCE standards for the assigned ESO TP/Center (i.e. demand management and demand determination, supplier verification, IBP, transportation and material flow, etc.) and relevant parameters (e.g. lead times, MOQ, product segmentation, order frequencies, etc.) to increase process effectiveness and compliance with established standards
  • Coordinate bottleneck management to avoid or minimize inventory/stock out risk for markets and patients, aim is to create solution scenarios in collaboration with Global Functions
  • Represent ESO TP/Region SC as a proxy, where required, at multi-disciplinary governance meetings both internally and externally for the relevant platform/region organization
  • Lead Supply Chain projects to create, implement and continuously improve core processes and standards
  • Responsible to define Center specific SC services requirements and provide a plan to manage relevant tasks
  • Design and implement supply chain models for the Center that support business strategies which can adapt to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
  • Governance of end to end supplier to customer goods availability plan and plan adherence

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Successfully completed university degree in the fields of supply chain management, logistics, business administration or comparable training
  • Professional experience in the areas of supply chain management, planning, logistics
  • Very good written and spoken English language skills
  • High degree of teamwork and quality orientation
  • Strong communication skills and convincing appearance
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured and careful manner
