Job DescriptionSTUDENT HELPER HARDWARE (M/F/D)General PurposeWe are looking for a Working Student ( 40 h/ month ) to support our Hardware team at our newly created Aachen location.What You’ll Be Working OnYou will join our Hardware t eam to support manufacturing, quality assurance and process optimization . As part of the Hardware team, you will work hands-on within a newly created department to establish and optimize production processes and workflows.
  • You will become part of a small, newly developed unit and actively support the setup of a brand-new location in Aachen , Germany .
  • You will disassemble and assemble hardware units using specific tools which you wi ll be trained to operate.
  • You will conduct quality assurance of finished products and box , package, and track units for shipping.
  • You will manage on-site storage of hardware units and working materials.
  • You will help the team to ensure a high and efficient p roduction quality.
  • Together with our Hardware team , you will develop new approaches for handling and improving internal and external production processes.
  • You will develop and maintain workflows for future team members to work with .
What We’re Looking For
  • You ’re an active student , ideally in the field of M echanical or El ectrical E ngineering, C omputer S cience or P roduct D evelopment .
  • You are organized and self-motivated w ith a hands-on mentality and start-up mindset. Using tools and getting your hands dirty is nothing you’re afraid of.
  • You’re a quick learner and a handy problem solver. Experience in hardware repairs and handling of industry grade tools is an advantage.
  • You are well familiar with MS Office tools , experience with project organization tools (e.g. Monday, Trello) is a plus.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English i s required .
  • Knowing the Elgato products is beneficial.
