Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design and evolve Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy for an EU VP leader
- Design the DEI roadmap identifying key pillars of the DEI strategy and translating them into relevant initiatives, in collaboration with Business Leaders, DEI taskforce teams, Affinity Groups and the Head of EU Consumer DEI.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness of DEI as a critical business imperative.
- Ensure consistency of actions across our local Affinity groups and our DEI taskforce volunteer teams as part of the broader DEI strategy and roadmap
- As a member of the EU DEI team, engage in pan-EU projects, benchmarks (both internally and externally) and in the identification, sharing and scaling of best practices.
- Act as DEI subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge.
- Regularly measure and analyze DEI metrics (using both quantitative and qualitative data), highlighting areas of strength and opportunity.
DEI Project Management, focused on outcomes
- Drive DEI program roadmap through project management, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for rollout and ongoing support.
- Scale services and tools by designing processes and procedures that scale with the business growth.
- Define key performance indicators by developing metrics for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives.
- Engage and influence cross-group stakeholders to deliver through others, understand blockers and build paths to green; escalate when necessary.
- Own DEI Quarterly Business Reviews, ad hoc reviews preparation and ensure relevant agenda, decision making and follow up.
- Communicate new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, stakeholder partners, and cross functional organizations.
- 5+ years in HR/DEI Partner Role (or other relevant team leader/functional experience)
- Experience building and effectively executing a DEI strategy from the ground up, including design of roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals
- Experience in a client service or customer-facing leadership role, enabling organization to build and execute their DEI plan to achieve measurable results
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive them to completion
- Executive level written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
- Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups without direct authority, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results.
- Advanced interpersonal awareness and skills with particular emphasis on assertiveness, supportiveness, confrontation, listening, and group process facilitation.
