We have an opportunity for a Sr Benefits Analystto join our Honeywell Corporate team inGermany.The EMEA Sr Benefits Analyst for retirement, health and risk benefit programs will support daily administration based on policies and plan rules and lead administrative process improvements. Primary responsibility for benefit programs in Germany, Austria but may also support other EMEA countries.

You will liaise with service providers and carriers to ensure administration in accordance with supplier performance standards, benefit plan rules, company policy, and applicable government regulations. You will partner with HRS Benefits Leads, other HRS functions, HR, C&B COE, and Legal to align administrative processes to policy and or plan design changes. You will provide oversight for quality resolution of Tier 3 issues including escalations and claims, and will liaise with C&B, Legal, HR, Payroll, and Pension Boards or Trustees as appropriate.

Sr Benefits Analystresponsibilities
  • Serves as leader or team member on project implementations or benefit plan design changes.
  • Responsible for employee benefit communication development and distribution, benefit portal updates, pension budget preparation, establishing proper business controls, annual benefit renewal data compilation and analysis, supplier management and service reviews. Will serve as back up to colleagues as needed.
  • They role involves partnership with the Compensation & Benefits COE to implement the company benefits strategy, acting as project lead for country and regional benefit initiatives.
  • There will be other type of country, regional or global projects in scope like harmonization, automation, benefits launch, communication, M&As, Compliance, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years of benefits plan administration with a focus on German Retirement Plans.
  • Proficiency with regulatory requirements related to benefits administration, specifically German pension plans
  • Languages: German fluent/native + English proficiency
  • Supplier management experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Professional HR, Benefit or Administration qualification a plus
