Work Tasks
  • Lead the Software Team containing following fields: SW Requirement Management, Functional Safety, Software Development and Verification, Integration and Architecture
  • Management of development projects, introduction of software development processes
  • Organization of Software Workstream to fulfill the needs of the overall project
  • Application of Processes and Methods base definitions
  • Develop, execute, and maintain program/work plans to achieve both short term and midterm project targets; must develop a technical plan to achieve SOP at the required content and quality levels
  • Collaborate with other Project Work Stream lead - inform other Workstream of dependencies as well as Function and SW Team progress
  • Planning, monitoring and reporting of milestones, budget and maturity to the customer and internally
  • Ensure compliance with the agreed customer requirements (specifications)
  • Efficient and result-oriented leadership of the project team
  • Involvement of management, customers and suppliers in the decision-making process
  • Risk management and action tracking
  • B.S. Engineering
  • Masters-PhD preferred
  • Several years Automotive ECU design and Software development experience
  • Able to drive team to achieve targets in a high stress work environment
  • Customer interface / negotiation expertise
  • OEM Project experience and successful driven first SOPs are a plus
  • Tier 2 / Technology partner work (development) experience
  • Able to drive Tier 2 / Technology Partner to achieve program targets
  • Well organized and able to develop and execute work / project plans
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English
  • Comprehensive knowledge of German desired
