Software Engineer (m/f/d) in full or part time (Ref.Nr.R0137813)
For our activities in the field of space at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart
You will enjoy having this responsibility:
We are currently looking for a Software/IT Engineer to support the teams of the Galileo Program, space projects and laboratory within Thales Alenia Space Deutschland. The task comprises the maintenance and evolution of the IT infrastructure in terms hardware, operating systems and application software realising virtualisation; Design and implement new Cybersecurity features as part of common services, automatically deployed with Ansible within our products and platforms.
It also involves the following tasks:
This role is a technical/engineering position with the responsibility for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of the servers, operating systems, application software, and supporting infrastructure of the TAS-D Business Network (projects, laboratory, and interfaces to the company network). The job holder will function as a technical administrator for the Engineering and Project teams.
Responsible for interfaces to Thales/TAS Company network
Responsible for network security including antivirus update and patch management
Administration of user accounts
Documentation of configuration and planning of IT infrastructure and network
Implementation of tools to support administration of infrastructure
You have:
Degree in software, computer science or IT administration
1-3 years of experience as IT administrator, Linux (RedHat) / Windows Server Administration in physical and virtualized environments
Network administration skills (CISCO, Alcatel, HP)
IS/IT security, patch management, anti-virus skills
Experience with Active Directory / Linux integration
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining server services Database
Fluent in German and English language (spoken and written), French an advantage
