The Vestas Service Offshore organisation is responsible for all activities in relation to the operation and maintenance of offshore windfarms in Northern and Central Europe. We currently have more than 4 GW under service contracts and we are continuously growing our pipeline and organisation. Offshore based operations on our Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for the Offshore Wind Farm Deutsche Bucht consisting of 31 x V164 wind turbines with 8,4 MW each.
You will work in a key role of our Service team. Temporarily travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education and sharing experience is a vital part of the offered position.
As an Offshore Service Technician (f/m/d), you will work in a team of 3 or more technicians and ensure a smooth operation and reliable operation of our wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Friction-less operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring/Remote Control
- Maintenance & Repair on electrical and mechanical systems
- Trouble shooting of electrical and mechanical systems and fault diagnosis
- Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
- Compliance to HSE standards
- Creating follow-up orders and registration of time and material consumption in SAP
- Completed training as an electrician, electrician or mechatronics engineer (EFK)
- Preferably you have worked in the wind and/or offshore industry.
- Experience with medium or high voltage systems is an advantage
- Good English and German skills both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- You are highly safety-minded and comfortable working offshore and at heights
- We expect you to have good problem-solving skills and a curiosity towards constantly improving the quality of our services and our work methods

We work shoulder to shoulder every day to become the global leader in the offshore wind market.
Your primary work location will be at Deutsche Bucht Offshore Windfarm with Eemshaven as base port from where our Service Operation Vessel operates. You will be working in a rotation setup of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
