YOUR TEAMYou will operate within the domain “Vehicle Motion and Energy”. At CARIAD, we are the backbone of driving functions and constitute the interface to the automotive mechatronics within the Volkswagen Group. We develop in (agile) teams powertrain, chassis and energy related functionalities, such as motion manager, steering, damper control or the charging of electric vehicles and many more. Thereby, we enable future innovations and new business models.

What You Will Do
  • Design and specification of test cases on serveral test instance e.g. SIL, HIL, Power-HIL, dyno and vehicle
  • Automation and execution of test suites for various vehicle projects
  • Analyze and report the results of executed test suites, focusing on potential issues and defects
  • Develop and optimize test approaches with regard to variant management, available resources and criticality of the different projects
  • Set up of HIL test benches as well as virtual integration and testing platform
Who You Are
  • Successfully completed study in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electrical machine control or a comparable course of studies
  • Experience in system verification of embedded systems in in the automotive industry
  • Expert knowledge in system test development methodologies (HIL and vehicle level) and established tools (like CANoe, CANape, INCA, TPT, Testweaver, EXAM)
  • Good knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB / Simulink and dSPACE TargetLink and experience with common calibration tools such as Vector CANape or ETAS INCA
  • Experience in working as part of agile teams on a solution based level; Scrum, SAFe, CI/CD or PI Planning are not just buzzwords for you
  • Fluent German and English language skills
