Your key responsibilities

• As a (Senior) Software Engineer you are part of our global Advanced Guidance Technology (AGT) Team responsible for the development of complex components and ENT applications.

• Your focus will be on continued development of existing and research and development of new features for Stryker’s computer assisted guidance systems including the integration of artificial intelligence based planning functionalities for ENT surgery.

• You design software components with UML and create, document and test components of existing and future new software in C++/Qt and QML/JavaScript.

• As part of the team, you will work out the system requirements based on customer requests and optimize our software for easy use in the operating room.

• You will be collaborating with our marketing and clinical specialist teams to learn more about our customer needs and come up with technical solutions to real world problems to improve patient outcomes.

• You will be closely working with developers from other AGT teams, as well as adjacent teams from other Stryker groups, e.g. Robotics.

• It would also be possible to work 50% from home

What are we looking for?

• You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering or comparable.

• Ideally, you have already gained several years of experience in software development with C++ (ideally in combination with Qt and QML), preferably you have worked in the medical industry on related problems, or in another regulated industry.

• We are also happy to give ambitious graduates with the appropriate practical experience a chance!

• You are a self-motivated, driven, reliable and able to work independently as well in a team.

• You are passionate about working on complex problems and with innovative state-of-the-art technologies.

• Fluent English skills complete your profile.
