The II-IV design center in Braunschweig, Germany develops high speed System-on-Chip devices in latest CMOS technology nodes for our industry-leading optical products including transceivers, transponders and ROADM line cards.

Job Description
  • Design and implementation of efficient DFT architectures for large SoC in advanced process nodes
  • Integration of test structures such as JTAG, IJTAG, Scan, MBIST, LBIST etc.
  • Integration of third party analog and digital IP for test
  • Test pattern generation and verification
  • Collaboration with internal and external test engineering teams for qualification and high volume test
  • Support for diagnostic and failure analysis
  • DFT flow coding and integration with SOC design flow

Qualification
  • Master’s degree (Dipl.-Ing.) or PhD in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in defining test strategies for large digital SoC in advanced process nodes with embedded analog and high speed IP
  • In depth experience with industry standard DFT tools Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens(Mentor)
  • Proven experience in supporting chip bring-up and preparation for high volume production test including diagnosis and yield improvement
  • Good scripting skills especially in TCL and UNIX tools for design automation purposes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English both internal and client-facing
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a multidisciplinary multi-site team
  • Willingness to travel occasionally or doing home-office where adequate and possible
