Introduction
As a (Senior) Hybrid Cloud Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a (Senior) Hybrid Cloud Architect you lead the design and implementation of enterprise applications in a hybrid multi-cloud environment. You are responsible for providing consultative, architectural, program and engineering support for our customers’ journeys to the cloud. As part of this journey, you are delivering innovative solutions, that are tailored to the specific needs of our customers. Building on your extensive experience with Cloud Architectures, Kubernetes and OpenShift you are building next-generation cloud native applications, sophisticated system integrations or ambitious cloud migration projects in a team of brilliant builders.

You build up strong relationships with our clients and act as a trusted advisor. You know what the best solution for our client is because you know his needs and are aware of our competition.

You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• You understand the different cloud solutions (multi, hybrid, public, private, on premise)
• You have proficient knowledge of cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP) and implications for the solution design
• You have a solid background in technical consulting, with demonstrated IT experience in solving enterprise customer problems
• You are experienced in one or more programming languages used in cloud application development
• 3+ years of experience in architecting/delivering complex and large-scale IT projects
• 2+ years of experience in architecting cloud projects, Kubernetes, Containerization
• 1+ year experience in usage, configuration or administration of container orchestrator like OpenShift at enterprise scale
• Knowledge about application modernization towards cloud (cloud transformation)
• Certification: Red Hat and/or hyperscaler
• Agile working methods and mindset
• You are always looking to learn something new and know about the latest technical trends.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• End-to-End Design, implementation and configuration of a toolchain with established DevOps tools
• Understanding of Automation in the development, testing and operations context.
• Experience and knowledge of cloud infrastructure
