Regional Customer Insights Lead EMEA (m/f/d)
based in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The Regional Customer Insights Lead will be responsible to supervise and oversee the strategy, planning and execution of customer centric insight programs, driving superior consumer experiences across the EMEA region. Customers include Health Care Providers, Specialists, Primary Care Provider and patients/consumers. He/She will be responsible to conduct primary market research and manage secondary market research sources in order to provide market and competitive insights to the Diabetes Care division. Collaborate with stakeholders within strategic and commercial marketing to support the business in making insights-driven recommendations. Success within this position will be achieved through rigorous application of market research methodologies and analysis (in partnership with outside vendors) and development of business understanding in order to identify strategic insights around key priorities that can be executed in close collaboration with the countries into actionable projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Elevate the voice of the customer and act as a key thought leader for translating customer needs into business objectives and projects
- Own and drive accountability on Customer engagement, satisfaction, NPS, loyalty metric, brand equity to measure progress
- Develop, lead and deploy Customer “obsessed” programs that help engrain Customer experience at the heart of all business decisions across all organizations (Marketing, Commercial, Science teams, etc..)
- Design and execute end to end market research projects including identification of project objectives, research design, vendor selection and oversight, data analysis, insight generation, report development and written and oral presentation
- Manage company processes related to procurement, vendor management, compliance, and pharmacovigilance activities in execution of market research
- Develop knowledge of key market events, analyzing competitive environment, and changes in consumer trends that are key to informing market research findings
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and internal clients and stakeholders
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage vendors on cost, timing, appropriateness of methodology, and actionability of conclusions
- Display a positive, solutions-based approach to all projects, and work effectively in teams
- Train the organization to use Behavioral Science, Social listening and interdisciplinary thinking (ad hoc research, longitudinal panel, secondary research, competitive, HCP, web, social and search insights, etc..) to drive externally focussed thought leadership as market leader
- Select and develop best CMI external partners, including traditional research players (e.g. Ipsos), media partners (google, facebook, amazon,..), and nimble agile insight experimenters. Develop partnerships embedded in the martech world to shape new research solutions
- Collaborate strongly with global market research partners for learnings exchange and transfer
- University Degree in Business/Marketing/Market Research, Science or related fields. Degree or certification in UX and Design thinking is a plus
- Minimum of 8-10 years of marketing/market research/strategic planning is required. Experience consumer packaged Goods or Healthcare/media agency is preferred
- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing primary market research of all types (innovation, advertising, brand tracking, price research, etc..) and deep understanding of various digital and precision marketing programs
- Leading of and working in cross functional teams
- Cross-cultural sensitivity
- Experience in diabetes care or in the field of glucose monitoring and Sales experience is a plus
- Very Good PC Skills (MS Office), SPSS knowledge preferred
- Presentation, communication and motivational skills
- Fluent English language skills in word and writing
