Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking an experienced Regional Brand Manager to join our existing top-notch Global Communications and Branding team. The Sr. Branding Manager will play an instrumental role in the development and execution of the Hitachi ABB Power Grids branding strategy during a major brand transformation and rebranding from Hitachi ABB to Hitachi brand. This indiviual will be responsible for developing the rebranding strategy, helping people get to know, trust and recognize the Hitachi brand within Power Grids internal and external audiences, building affinity and attraction for the Hitachi brand. The person in this role will develop Europe brand content and work in collaboration with the Hitachi ABB Power Grids global Head of Branding and communications teams to ensure consistent delivery and stewardship of our new brand.

Your Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the global brand strategy in Region Europe.
  • Responsible for the enhancement of global brand guidelines and visual identity system and ensures consistency of brand execution across all markets in Europe.
  • Ensure comprehensive execution of creative and messaging strategies to drive effectiveness and consistency across all business unit marketing channels inclusive of digital.
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports brand program results to ensure strategies and tactics are working and to optimize business outcomes.
  • Partner with creative agencies to support brand strategy through creative integrated marketing and communications plans and other brand asset development.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, best practice sharing, competitive benchmarking and expertise on our evolving landscape.
  • Supports regional, global, functional and business projects as a brand advocate and ambassador with a mastery of our brand principles, mission and communication goals.
  • Ensure all the rebranding programs and projects are within budget and on track. The projects may include facility rebranding, collateral, digital channels, etc.
  • Proactively partner with the Hitachi Europe branding teams to learn about new updates, guidelines, and best practices for brand evolution in the Europe region.

Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of brand management and marketing experience in roles with advancing responsibility
  • Self-starter with the ability to see a project from concept to launch with little supervision.
  • Must have a creative eye and disciplined regard for aesthetic.
  • Strong communications aptitude, including strategic direction setting, campaign conceptualization, execution and measurement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, including the ability to write in a compelling and authoritative style.
  • Must possess strong formal and informal leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage conflict and problem solve in a highly-collaborative environment. Able to effectively engage all stakeholder groups around branding topics.
