Summary:This role is responsible for enhancement of customer satisfaction through risk mitigation of products and processes. Supervise development, implementation and verification of product and processes related to internal and external quality requirements. Work in conjunction with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality objectives are met. Ensure product/process conformity to internal, customer and third party regulatory requirements. Actively work as part of a highly integrated product line team.Essential Functions:
  • Result-oriented work with a focus on process optimization / problem-solving strategy
  • Supervision and moderation of FMEAs
  • Creation of control plans
  • Process development for the flow from specifications via FMEA and control plan to the work orders
  • Proactive quality optimization within our production
  • Participation in customer and supplier complaints
  • Participation in customer visits and audits
  • Cross-site manufacturing support
  • Participation in projects (CIP, new developments, increase in efficiency, etc.)
  • Implementation and monitoring of the requirements of IATF 16949
  • Failure/vulnerability analysis
Qualifications:
  • Education: Engineering degree (BE, Dipl. Ing)
  • Years of Experience: 2+ years
  • Proven experience in process optimization / problem-solving strategies / FMEA moderation
  • Knowledge of statistics (Shainin RedX and/or SixSigma skills desirable)
  • Training and experience in quality techniques and core tools (e.g. SPC; MSA, APQP ...)
  • Knowledge in MS Access, ProFicient, APIS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Confident demeanor and assertiveness with a can-do attitude
  • Experience with automotive customers is an advantage
