Project Manager* Fairs & Events

BAADER is a company in transition. After initiating a comprehensive rebranding process, we are now placing a stronger emphasis on marketing towards First Choice and offering numerous opportunities to tackle new topics. With a targeted mix of live marketing formats from traditional trade shows and events, digital streams, or hybrid events we engage with our customers exactly where it is relevant for them on their journey and deliver an industry leading customer experience. This environment offers an exciting and challenging position with independent responsibilities and great potential for contributions towards future solutions.

Your future tasks will include:
  • In this position you will create and implement event concepts which support BAADER’s strategic business goals and operational sales objectives.
  • You will lead and execute live marketing projects from conception to completion and evaluation, within schedule and budget, and coordinate all BAADER functions and external service providers involved.
  • Moreover, you will monitor project progress, address obstacles and initiate necessary corrective actions, handle your work packages, and resolve issues with a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Your tasks include, for example:
    • Managing projects from concept to review
    • Overseeing and coordinating all internal and external tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines
    • Supporting budgeting, invoicing, and cost monitoring
    • Negotiating and managing service providers
    • Handling logistics and shipping
    • Creating event evaluation and review reports
  • Advising and supporting the BAADER regional companies in the planning and implementation of regional events will also be part of your responsibility.

Qualifications, experiences and personal skills you possess:

  • You have a degree in an area with a marketing focus or a comparable qualification within live marketing.
  • Relevant professional experience, ideally in international projects in a live marketing/fairs and events environment with budget and timeline responsibility, is required for this role.
  • You combine persuasion skills with good communication skills – in English and German – in dealing with teams worldwide and enjoy bringing ideas to solutions.
  • A structured and results-oriented working style is also necessary.
